“Gwani” is the debut single from Asturias, Spain garage trio BOBKAT’65. It’s a cute original with catchy, ’60s-style garage swagger and female-fronted vox. The B-side is a cover of Billy & The Kids’ garage gem “Time.”
“Gwani” is available now as a large-hole 45, pressed on black wax. Head on over to the Get Hip Webstore to order your copy now!
The year 2015, the place Asturias, North of Spain. Two boss chicks and a cool cat mad about Sixties American Teen Beat, get together to blast out their favorite obscurities and new authentic styled originals.
BOBKAT’65 is born! Taking the feel of the wildest 60′s Punk and the Moodiest of Minor Key maulers. BOBKAT’65 takes and makes that sound their own.
They just recorded their fantastic debut single at Jorge Explosion’s amazing analog Studios Circo Perrotti in Gijon, Asturias. If you are a fan of Raw Rock N’ Roll from the mid sixties you are going to dig the attitude and style of BOBKAT’65!

“Breakfast Before Chaos”
Lost somewhere between the Cramps and the Kinks, WEIRD OMEN spits a unique blend primitive garage, a deluge of trash brass, of reverb and fuzzzzzz. Strange, you said strange???!!!!
Weird as strange. Strange, as their universe borrows just as much from a world of the crazy 50′s galaxy as from the British pop craze. Strange, as their line up is composed of guitar, saxophone, drums and three vocals.
Omen as the forerunner. The forerunner of trance garage with these three musicians stemming from diverse and recognized bands (King Khan & the Shrines, Bee Dee Kay & the Roller Coaster, Lost Communists, Limiñanas, We Are Not Indians, Escobar, Anomalys…).
